Wyanett E. Free Church is actively involved in carrying out the Great Commission through Foreign Missions located in Kenya, China, France, Brazil, and through state and local ministries.
Helping Hands Mission - Kenyal (Photos)
Rev. Timothy Mundiah and his wife Florence. Pastor Mundiah is Director and senior pastor of Helping Hands Mission (HHM) in Kitale, Kenya and his wife Florence is director of three orphanages. HHM began with 1 church in 1998 and now has 48 congregations in Kenya, South Sudan, Uganda, and Rwanda. In addition to the 48 congregations, HHM now has three Christian Schools of approximately 1500 students, two orphanges with the third one now being built and a sewing school with 38 students.
South Americal Missions - Brazil
Dave and Kay Greiman work at the Ammi Training Center near Chapade do Guimaraes, the geographical center of South America. They are involved in a leadership training program with the tribal people of Brazil. There are as many as 20 different Indian tribes represented each year in a three year program with an enrollment of 35 - 60 students. This past year they began a new curriculum of teaching stories of the Bible chronologically. The intent is that the Indian students tell and share the stories. This past year, 60 stories from the Bible have been taught and we are highly encourage with the results.
Dave has been a missionary in Brazil since 1976 and Kay since 1979. Kay grew up and attended Wyanett Evangelical Free Church and went to the mission field of Brazil where she met Dave. They have been serving together in Brazil since 1984.
Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) - France
Michael & Emilie Gibbons stationed in France have been involved in Christian ministry since 1987, having served in four different French-speaking countries, moving to Toulouse, France in 2006.They oversee the Go Toulouse Team which has 16 workers consisting of Asian, German, US, Chinese, Russian, British, and/or Latin American team members. Michael and Emilie provide leadership for the Go Toulouse Team by developing, empowering and releasing leaders and establishing Christian communitites in greater Toulouse while working in cooperation with existing churches and ministries.
Evangel Seminary, Hong Kong
The Evangel Seminary, Hong Kong, is dedicated to train men and women to serve our Lord Jesus Christ either on a full-time basis or in their chosen professions. Founded in 1932, Evangel Seminary has graduated more lthan 1000 men and women, serving as pastor, missionaries, educators, in Christian organizations, and tentmakers both in Hong Kong and around the world.
